Listen Up Soul, My Spirit’s Speaking

The Trinity of God and the triune man. Man, in the fashion of God, is also a triune being. We consist of body, soul, and spirit. It is important to recognize how the triune man communicates between our own makeup, and the Holy Trinity: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Bible says our spirit is willing, but our flesh is weak. Jerry Lyle points out just why the flesh, through the five senses. is always craving earthly rewards. But it is our spirit that craves the things of God. Therefore, it is our soul that determines whom we will serve. Brother Lyle reveals the flesh to the weakest; the soul to be the strongest, and the spirit to be the noblest! When the Spirit of God speaks, He speaks to “our” spirit. Therefore, it is most important for our soul to listen up when our spirit speaks, concerning the will of God!
